The VNUK Career Discovery 2023 voyage has officially reached its successful destination after an energetic and meaningful weekend. Our explorers had the opportunity to discover and learn at two fascinating “islands”: Island #2.2 “Interview Skills” and Island #3 “Guidelines for Working Effectively and Achieving High Productivity.”
Interview Skills – Island #2.2
At Island #2.2, the explorers reunited with Mr. Huynh Hong Quoc Anh, M.A., Training & Development Manager at Novotel Danang Premier Han River. In this sharing session, Mr. Quoc Anh not only provided essential knowledge and mindset to impress employers but also offered a hands-on experience through a simulated interview. This was an excellent opportunity for students to practice their interview skills and receive constructive feedback, helping them boost their confidence and prepare more effectively for real-life interviews.
Working Effectively and Achieving High Productivity – Island #3
After leaving Island #2.2, the voyage continued to Island #3, where the explorers were guided by Ms. Pham Thi Minh Thuy, M.A., in a session on “Guidelines for Working Effectively and Achieving High Productivity.” Her sharing was not only engaging but also packed with real-life examples that anyone in the workplace might encounter. Students learned how to adopt a professional demeanor in the office — from small details like choosing appropriate attire to handling communication situations and collaborating effectively with colleagues.
Ms. Thuy’s sharing inspired the explorers with a valuable message: “No matter who you are or what you do, always be yourself. Treat everyone with sincerity, understanding, and humility, for these are the core foundations that will help you move forward on your own path.”
