Research at VNUK aims to contribute to the enhancement of training quality. Therefore, the research areas are closely aligned with the institute’s academic programs, comprising four main fields:

1. Information Technology
2. Biotechnology
3. Nanotechnology
4. Management Science

In particular, research in Information Technology focuses on computer science, distributed systems, cybersecurity, data analytics, and artificial intelligence. The Biotechnology field addresses topics such as targeted therapy, cell physiology and biochemistry, natural pharmaceuticals, bioinformatics, and biomedical sciences. Nanotechnology research emphasizes the development of new materials for biomedical applications, advanced electronic materials for green energy, and nanomaterials for environmental treatment. Research in Management Science covers business administration, innovation management, and economic development.
