With the aim of fostering creativity, enhancing critical thinking skills, cultivating a passion for scientific research (SR), and developing lifelong learning capacity among students, the VNUK Institute for Research and Executive Education (VNUK), The University of Danang, implements annual SR activities for students. VNUK hereby informs all staff members and students of the following details:

Eligible Participants

Students eligible to carry out research projects must have an academic performance rating of “Good” or higher (GPA ≥ 2.5), possess good moral character, and be currently enrolled and under the management of the VNUK.

Content and Research Team Composition

• Student SR projects may be part of broader SR projects at various levels led by lecturers, research staff, or scientists, or they may be independent SR projects conducted by an individual student or a group of students under the supervision of lecturers or scientists from Vietnam or abroad.
• Each project may involve no more than 05 student participants, with one student serving as the principal investigator. Each student may serve as principal investigator for only one project and may participate in no more than two projects simultaneously.
• Each student SR project may have more than one supervisor. Each supervisor may oversee up to two projects.

Research Fields

Students may register to conduct research in the following fields:

• Social Sciences and Humanities
• Economics and Business: International Business Administration
• International Tourism and Hospitality Management
• Engineering and Technology, including:Computer Science and Engineering, Data Science, Biomedical Science
• Interdisciplinary Studies

Please complete the Student Scientific Research Project Proposal Form (available in the “Forms” section) and submit a hard copy to the Office of Science and International Cooperation, and an electronic copy via email to: khcn-htqt@vnuk.edu.vn
