About VNUK

Under the signed agreement between Vietnam and the United Kingdom, the University of Danang is honored to be appointed to support VN-UK Institute For Research and Executive Education – the first public-international university in Da Nang city. Over the years, VNUK has been cooperating with international partners to conduct various research and education activities in order to reach local and international advanced levels. Moreover, many successful research and suitable training programs have been launched.

After seven years of development, VNUK has established itself as a prestigious higher education institution in Central Vietnam. With the mission of becoming an inspiring bridge that connects Vietnamese students to the world and brings global knowledge to Vietnam, VNUK has continuously strengthened its international cooperation efforts. These initiatives aim to provide students with access to international-standard education at a cost that remains affordable in Vietnam. Students and their experiences have always been at the heart of all institutional improvements. Internship opportunities, psychological counseling services, extracurricular activities, and international exchange programs are just some of the outstanding experiences that VNUK proudly offers to its students.

VNUK and the first milestones

VNUK is the first public university established under the cooperation agreement between the Governments of Vietnam and the United Kingdom.

VNUK was awarded $210,000 by Tate & Lyle Group via the British Council Vietnam with the purpose of funding scholarships for students who are in difficult circumstances.

VNUK is a crucial partner and an official Center for Language Testing and Assessment of ACCA in the Central region of Vietnam.

VNUK is the first Vietnam partner of Aston University to be recognized for the 3+1 top-up programs (3 years studying in Vietnam, 1 year studying abroad) for students to transfer to the UK and complete their degree.

VNUK is the first higher education institution in Vietnam qualified to educate in Biomedical Science.

VNUK is the first higher education institution  in the Central region of Vietnam qualified to educate in Nanotechnology.

VNUK is the official education partner of Amazon Web Services Academy in Vietnam.

VNUK is the first partner of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) recognized by British royal family. 

VNUK is the first partner of the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) of the United Kingdom.
