Memorable Experiences of VNUK Students during a Field Trip to the Acecook Instant Noodle Factory in Da Nang
To provide students with a more comprehensive and practical understanding of their chosen profession, VNUK has organized a series of field trips to leading enterprises. In this trip, students from the International Business and Management (IBM) program had the opportunity to visit the Acecook instant noodle factory in Da Nang.
About the Company
Established on December 15, 1993, and officially commencing operations in 1995, Acecook Vietnam Joint Stock Company has, over the years, grown to become a leading general food company in Vietnam, firmly securing its market position and specializing in providing high-quality, nutritious instant food products. Acecook Vietnam currently has its representative office in Ho Chi Minh City, four business branches, and eleven factories nationwide. In 2021, with 30 billion packets of Hao Hao noodles sold, Acecook Vietnam broke its own previous record by maintaining the title of “Hao Hao Noodles – The instant noodle brand with the highest sales volume in Vietnam since 2000” and set a new Vietnam Record as the first company in the country to have sold 30 billion packets of Hao Hao noodles by 2021.
Exploring the Production and Operation Process
This trip gave VNUK students the chance to observe and gain in-depth knowledge of the instant noodle production process at one of the leading factories in the food industry. With the enthusiastic guidance and support of Acecook staff, students explored every stage, from ingredient selection and production to product packaging. The production process here not only ensures quality but also strictly complies with food hygiene and safety standards, helping students gain a better understanding of the requirements and challenges of the industry.
In addition, the students were introduced to the organizational structure and the operational methods of the company’s departments. This provided them with valuable insights into the management, distribution, and business processes of a large enterprise. These are priceless lessons that allow students to gain a more realistic perspective on the working environment and the necessary skills for success in the industry.
Hands-on Experience and Company Interaction
One highlight of the trip was the opportunity to sample Caykay instant cup noodles – one of Acecook’s newest products with a distinctive flavor made using advanced technology. The students were excited to taste the product right at the factory while learning more about the research and development process behind it.
During the Q&A session, VNUK students actively engaged by asking in-depth questions about various aspects of the company, ranging from food hygiene and safety to departmental structures and operational methods. Acecook representatives responded to all questions sincerely and professionally, giving the students a deeper and more specific understanding of the challenges and opportunities within the food industry.
