The National Science and Technology Innovation Competition for High School Students – U-Invent
U-Invent is an annual playground designed to encourage high school students to explore and innovate in the fields of Science – Technology – Engineering, thereby applying academic knowledge to solve real-life problems. Organized annually since 2018 by the Vietnam–UK Institute for Research and Executive Education (VNUK), University of Danang, U-Invent aims to develop creative thinking, problem-solving skills, a spirit of scientific and technological entrepreneurship, and especially a sense of community service among students in Da Nang in particular and across the country in general.

U-Invent 6: Innovative Solutions for a Better Life
The sixth season of the U-Invent competition is themed “Innovative Solutions for a Better Life – Bridging Innovations for a Better Life: Leave No One Behind.” The competition promises to encourage, inspire, and incubate innovative projects geared toward the community to ensure that “no one is left behind.”
U-Invent 6 is honored to receive sponsorship from Crimson Education Co., Ltd., and to be accompanied by 40 experts across three fields—Science & Technology, Socioeconomics, and Engineering—serving as mentors, coaches, and judges. These experts provide in-depth and dedicated advice and feedback to help teams refine and realize their creative ideas into tangible products with future application potential.
Additionally, this year’s U-Invent has attracted 155 students from 26 high schools nationwide, forming 38 teams with a wide range of creative ideas centered around the theme Innovative Solutions for a Better Life.

The Creative Solutions Round with 38 Competing Teams
This morning, 38 teams from 26 high schools across the country continued to compete in the Creative Solutions Presentation Round (Solution Day).
With only 10 minutes for presentations and Q&A, the U-Inventors showcased their full potential in presenting ideas, creative thinking, and adaptability in the face of the challenging “tough questions and quick answers” from the judges. After this round, the top 25 teams will proceed to the Prototype Round, and the results will be revealed soon via email, so stay tuned, U-Inventors!

U-Invent continues to affirm its reputation as a top-tier platform that not only encourages creativity and innovation but also raises awareness of social responsibility among U-Inventors. The projects all carry significant humanitarian value, targeting groups such as the elderly, people with disabilities, and those with autism, clearly reflecting this year’s theme: “Innovative Solutions for a Better Life: Leave No One Behind.”
