The Vietnam–UK Institute for Research and Executive Education (VNUK) is an international public education institution under the University of Danang. 1. International Business and Management
The International Business and Management program at VNUK was designed and developed with academic consultation from Aston Business School, Aston University. According to QS 2022, Aston Business School is ranked among the world’s top 100 business schools and is recognized by the “Triple Crown” accreditation, placing it among only 60 of the most prestigious business schools worldwide.
Students in this program develop a global strategic mindset, thanks to an updated curriculum reflecting the latest business trends and real-world experiences with enterprises starting from their first year. The Fourth Industrial Revolution (Industry 4.0) has brought about significant changes in the way businesses compete. Alongside the emergence and growth of new industries, some previously advantageous industries have become saturated. According to the World Economic Forum’s forecast, by 2025, the demand for digitally skilled professionals will continue to increase, especially for positions in data analysis, digital strategy, digital marketing, and digital transformation experts.
In Vietnam, at a broader level, the fundamental nature of Industry 4.0 is the digital revolution. However, there is a shortage of high-quality human resources in this field, and many adjacent industries lack the digital skills necessary to adapt to the future labor market. This reality highlights the urgent need to build and develop a workforce equipped with both business knowledge and strong digital skills.
The business world has been undergoing a major shift toward the digital environment. The Digital Business model is considered an inevitable global trend and is currently the target of transformation for most domestic and international enterprises. Anticipating this trend, the Data-driven Marketing undergraduate program at VNUK is designed to enhance students’ analytical skills, enabling them to make marketing decisions based on data. Students will explore the correlation between Marketing and Data Analytics, gain exposure to CRM, data visualization, website analytics, digital marketing analytics, as well as understanding customer psychology and experience. 5. Biomedical Science
Biomedical Science is the scientific discipline that studies life and applies the most advanced achievements to improve human health through prevention, detection, and treatment of diseases using modern diagnostic and interventional technologies. The achievements of Biomedical Science have been and continue to have direct and tangible impacts on our daily lives. Alongside Information Technology, Biomedical Science is recognized by leading global experts as one of the sciences of the 21st century, playing a revolutionary role in the future of human life.
With the aim of training human resources with in-depth knowledge of modern biology as well as clinical and paraclinical medicine to develop new medical techniques, while also creating outstanding scientists in the field of health sciences with a passion for making new discoveries in disease prevention, protection, and treatment for the community, the Vietnam-UK Institute for Research and Executive Education (VNUK), with the support of universities in the United Kingdom and the University of Danang, was approved by the Ministry of Education and Training to launch the Bachelor of Biomedical Science program in 2016. This is the first internationally accredited Biomedical Science undergraduate program in Vietnam.
The curriculum is developed based on the international program of Aston University – United Kingdom, with high adaptability to meet societal needs. The Biomedical Science program at VNUK is designed on a credit-based system with a wide range of knowledge, including both compulsory and elective modules, allowing students flexibility in planning their studies to complete the program.

6. Computer Science and Engineering (CSE)

CSE equips graduates with comprehensive professional capabilities (through direct engagement with real-world industry environments via joint VNUK-industry projects, six-month practical internships, and with 25% of the entire curriculum taught by industry experts). Nanotechnology
Nanotechnology is a field of technology concerned with the design, analysis, fabrication, manipulation, and application of structures, devices, and systems at the nanometer (nm) scale (1 nm = 10⁻⁹ m). Nanotechnology is considered a highly promising field both now and in the future. Its applications are remarkably diverse — not only in daily life such as antibacterial devices, environmental treatment, beauty care, and cancer treatment, but also in advanced technologies such as electronic components, solar cells, and biochips.
With its ability to generate practical applications that directly improve human life, nanotechnology plays a crucial role in solving many pressing global challenges. For this reason, it is considered one of the fastest-growing disciplines and a hallmark technology of the new era, alongside Information Technology and Biotechnology.

Bilingual English – Vietnamese Programs
International Business Commerce
The International Business Commerce program is delivered bilingually in English and Vietnamese. It is built on the foundation of International Management and Business and has been advised and developed in collaboration with the Aston Business School, Aston University, United Kingdom.
This program is designed to train students with a global strategic mindset in international business and commerce. Particularly in today’s digital age, digital strategic thinking, e-business, and e-commerce are rapidly growing, transcending geographical boundaries of nations and regions.
Students in this major will be updated with global business and commerce trends, and will gain hands-on experiences through company visits and internships starting from their first year. In the third year, students will take part in full-time internships at companies as real interns. After graduation, students have career opportunities at multinational corporations both domestically and internationally, taking on positions in international business, international trade, import-export, global supply chain management, and logistics.
In addition, students have opportunities for exchange programs abroad during their studies at VNUK, as well as higher study options after graduation. Notably, students can transfer to the full English-taught program in International Business Management at VNUK. While studying in the English-taught program, they may also register for international professional certificates such as ACCA, CMI, and CIM (triple accreditation).

2. Software Engineering
Software Engineering is a bilingual English – Vietnamese program in the field of Engineering at VNUK. The curriculum is built based on ABET standards, with several modules delivered in collaboration with Aston University, United Kingdom.
The undergraduate Software Engineering program, under the discipline of Computer Science and Engineering at VNUK, aims to train engineers in areas related to Software Engineering. It is designed to meet the demand for high-quality human resources, satisfy the learning needs of students, and align with the requirements of economic and social development.
Equipping learners with fundamental knowledge for comprehensive development; the ability to apply basic engineering principles, advanced practical skills, and technical expertise to take on the role of an engineer in fields related to Computer Science and Engineering, particularly in Software Engineering.

Admissions Information 2023-2024
The admissions program for the academic year 2023-2024 at VNUK (School Code: DDV) has officially started. Students born in 2005 are encouraged to submit applications through the following four admission methods:
- Admission based on high school academic performance/transcripts
- Admission based on the 2023 National High School Graduation Exam results
- Direct admission according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training
- Admission through VNUK’s Special Admission Method
