Recently, the Workshop “Applications of Modern Data & Career Orientation in Data Science” took place successfully, attracting the enthusiastic participation of many VNUK students as well as learners of different ages who share an interest in technology and data.
The workshop offered fresh, practical perspectives on how data is being applied in modern businesses, helping participants gain a deeper understanding of the pivotal role Data Science plays in the digital transformation era. In addition, the sessions also focused on building career roadmaps, identifying essential skills, and preparing the right toolkit to grow in this promising field.
Accompanying the program were two seasoned speakers who shared insightful knowledge drawn from their own professional experiences. From in-depth analysis of graph-based NoSQL databases – a prominent application trend in enterprises – to career development guidance in Computer Science and Data, the speakers not only broadened participants’ technical knowledge but also delivered strong inspiration.
One highlight was the sharing session by Ms. Thanh Nhan – a VNUK alumna currently working at a major corporation. With an outstanding career journey, Nhàn is about to pursue the Erasmus Mundus Master’s Program in Systems Engineering, specializing in Machine Learning, after having been awarded a prestigious full scholarship from the European Union. Her story is a vivid example of the capabilities, dedication, and opportunities available to students in the digital age.
