Global Culture Course at VNUK – A “Three-Pocket Bag” for Students to Integrate into the World
The Global Culture course is designed to help students develop the ability to adapt to diverse cultures in an international community. Throughout the course, students will explore the importance of culture in the ever-changing global context, broaden their perspectives, and hone the essential skills required for success, whether in an academic or professional environment. This course is a key component of the global citizen identity that VNUK aims to cultivate.
A special highlight of the course is the hands-on project, where students will create ideas, organize, and carry out performances related to the Global Culture Festival/Showcase for culture enthusiasts. During this process, students will learn how to cultivate flexible thinking, adapt to changes, and manage unexpected situations in real-life scenarios.
As an annual event branded by VNUK, over several seasons, the Global Culture Showcase has not only become a final project but has also evolved into a creative platform for student groups to express and spread the beauty of borderless cultures from around the world.
Global Culture Showcase 2025: A Convergence of 6 Major Cultures
This year’s “miniature world” at the VNUK campus will be a meeting point of six countries, each representing one of the world’s major cultures: China (East Asian Culture), Spain (European Culture), Egypt (Central Asian Culture), India (South Asian Culture), Mexico (Latin American Culture), and South Africa (African Culture).
This one-of-a-kind “world tour” at VNUK will be vividly recreated by VNUK-ers taking the Global Culture course, who will reflect their personal love and understanding of each country’s culture. With vibrant colors, the Global Culture event will take you on an adventurous journey across all five continents.

Mexico Cultural Bingo – Play Hard, Win Big
It’s a simple yet super fun game:
– Each participant will receive a Bingo card with symbols representing Mexico’s culture, such as sombreros, cacti, mariachi, piñatas, tacos, tamales, and more.
– The host will call out the symbols one by one. If any match your card, quickly mark them off!
– The first person to complete a horizontal, vertical, or diagonal line yells “¡BINGO!” and wins a fantastic prize!
