On the morning of October 12, 2025, at the University of Danang Urban Area, the Award Ceremony for the “University of Danang Student Scientific Research Award” for the 2024–2025 academic year and the 7th Young Innovation Festival 2025 took place in a solemn yet vibrant atmosphere, with the participation of UD leadership, representatives of government agencies, enterprises, faculty members, and a large number of students.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Ngọc Vũ – President of the University of Danang presented the First Prize of the UD Student Scientific Research Award 2024–2025.
With the theme “A New Generation of Students with Breakthroughs in Science and Technology,” the event serves as an important annual academic activity that honors outstanding research projects, promotes innovation, and fosters a scientific spirit among students across UD.

UD leadership and Viettel Danang (Branch of the Military Industry and Telecoms Group) signed a cooperation agreement.
Among the 27 excellent projects selected for the final round, a team from the VNUK Institute for Research and Executive Education – University of Danang, consisting of Trần Thị Thanh Thanh and Phan Thị Minh Hằng (Cohort 23, Major in Materials Technology), under the supervision of Dr. Lê Hoàng Sinh – Head of the Faculty of Science and Technology, won First Prize in the field of Engineering and Technology, Natural Sciences, and Medical-Pharmaceutical Sciences with the project: “Developing Eco-friendly Electrolytes for Sustainable Electrochromic Devices: A Green Approach for Smart Greenhouses.”
At the ceremony, UD leadership also signed cooperation agreements with Viettel Danang (a branch of the Military Industry and Telecoms Group) and M_Service Joint Stock Company (MoMo), focusing on supporting student research and talent development, as well as building smart universities and promoting digital transformation to provide a modern, safe, and friendly academic environment for students.

The collaboration among the “three parties” (universities, enterprises, and government) creates abundant opportunities for student research.
At the Young Innovation Festival, delegates and students visited and experienced the Exhibition of Outstanding Student Research and Innovation Projects of UD students, featuring over 50 topics and products on display. The exhibition reflected the dynamic landscape of student research, practical applications, and the great potential of UD’s academic community, contributing to enhancing UD’s reputation and role in training high-quality human resources for regional and national development.

Students also took part in talks with distinguished speakers – respected managers and experts in research, entrepreneurship, and innovation – including Mr. Võ Đức Anh, Deputy Director of the Danang Innovation Startup Support Center; Dr. Trịnh Công Duy, Lecturer at the Faculty of Information Technology, University of Science and Technology – UD, Microsoft GTP Interedu Vietnam Expert; and Trần Nhân Kiệt, a student of VNUK and member of the BINKS team (First Prize winner in the Social Impact Project category and the MoET SV_STARTUP competition).

Their sharing sessions inspired students with real-life journeys of turning ideas into AI-driven innovations, nurturing motivation for learning, research, creativity, and entrepreneurship.
