The official internship period is an important and meaningful milestone for VNUKers, bringing valuable “first lessons” in their career journey. Over 4 to 6 months, third-year VNUK students had the opportunity to apply their academic knowledge into practice, working as official employees at enterprises. With dedication and determination to explore and conquer new challenges, VNUKers were able to accumulate practical experience for their future career paths.
With the guidance of lecturers and the Institute, students went through diverse emotions during their internships, gaining useful lessons that helped them become more “top-notch” in the vast professional world. Tran Viet Cuong (Front Desk) – Receptionist – Four Seasons The Nam Hai:
As someone who was not confident in communication and often struggled with interview situations, Cường received enthusiastic support from VNUK Career Service. Thanks to this, he was able to perfect his CV in a detailed and professional way, while also learning key skills to succeed in interviews – from answering questions effectively to making a good impression on recruiters. This support helped Cường confidently conquer employers from various departments such as HRM, Front Desk Manager, Room Division Manager, and Resort Manager, overcoming difficulties on his career path.

Ky Do Hong Uyen (Marketing Intern) – Hilton Danang:
In her role as a Marketing Intern at Hilton Danang, Ky Do Hong Uyen faced many challenges – from understanding the complexity of the hospitality industry to finding the balance between creativity and principles at work. Uyen realized that learning, listening, and asking questions not only helped her personal growth but also demonstrated adaptability and continuous improvement. She also concluded that work attitude is the most important factor determining success, especially during the internship period.

For Truong Khanh Nguyen, working at a 5-star resort was an intense first-time experience. At the beginning, Nguyen struggled to keep up with the heavy workload. However, with the dedicated support and guidance from colleagues, Nguyen quickly adapted and learned how to use the corporation’s specific tools and software.
