Recently, the VN–UK Institute for Research and Executive Education (VNUK), the University of Danang, held a working session with Mr. Stephen Williams, Director of NTU Global at Nottingham Trent University (United Kingdom), to review ongoing collaboration and discuss strategic directions for the next phase.
As a strategic partner of VNUK in the MA TESOL programme, Nottingham Trent University and VNUK have implemented a range of effective joint activities, contributing to enhanced training quality and expanded learning opportunities for students in Vietnam.
Key discussion points included:
- Updates on the MA TESOL programme, along with plans to strengthen recruitment support and marketing activities
- Opportunities to expand student recruitment across Southeast Asia
- Initial considerations regarding the feasibility and roadmap for developing a joint doctoral programme
The meeting was also attended by Prof. Dr. Le Quang Son and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Huu Phuc (University of Danang), whose valuable insights helped further clarify strategic priorities and the feasibility of future collaborative initiatives.
This working session marks an important step in reinforcing the partnership between VNUK and Nottingham Trent University, while opening up new prospects for postgraduate education and the internationalization of academic programmes.
