VNUK is delighted to officially welcome a group of students from Kulturstudier, Norway, as they begin an 8-week journey of learning, exploration, and cultural discovery in Da Nang and Vietnam.
During the welcome session, Dr. Nguyen Hiep – President of VNUK, warmly welcomed the Kulturstudier students and shared his best wishes for a meaningful semester filled with new experiences, connections, and memorable moments in Vietnam.
A Learning Journey Beyond the Classroom
Over the next eight weeks at VNUK, the Kulturstudier students will take part in a learning program that combines academic study, practical experiences, and cultural exchange.
At VNUK, students will attend classes delivered by the Institute’s lecturers. Alongside classroom learning, the program offers a variety of interactive and experiential activities, allowing students to gain knowledge through direct engagement with their surroundings.
An important part of the program is a series of field trips, giving students the opportunity to step beyond the classroom and explore local businesses, landmarks, cultural sites, and other distinctive aspects of Da Nang.
Through these real-world experiences, students will not only discover a new destination but also gain a deeper understanding of Vietnamese life, culture, and development.
Cultural Exchange and Connections with VNUK Students
Cultural exchange is another important part of the Kulturstudier students’ journey at VNUK.
During their time at the Institute, international students will have opportunities to meet, interact, and take part in activities with VNUK students. Differences in language, culture, and backgrounds will become opportunities for young people to learn from one another, exchange perspectives, and build friendships that go beyond geographical boundaries.
For VNUK students, this is also a valuable opportunity to expand their international network, strengthen their communication skills in a multicultural environment, and experience international exchange right here in Da Nang and Hoi An.
Eight Weeks of Experiences and Memories
A memorable semester is not only about the knowledge gained in the classroom, but also about the people we meet, the places we discover, and the stories we create along the way.
Throughout the next eight weeks, the Kulturstudier students will continue their classes, join field trips, take part in cultural exchange activities with VNUK students, and enjoy many other experiences across Central Vietnam.
This journey promises to create lasting memories not only for the students from Norway, but also to open up more opportunities for connection, cultural exchange, and learning within the VNUK student community.
