Recently, a delegation from the VN-UK Institute for Research and Executive Education (VNUK), the University of Danang, paid a working visit to Thailand to meet with the University Studies Abroad Consortium (USAC) and Chiang Mai University. The visit aimed to strengthen existing partnerships while exploring new international opportunities for VNUK faculty members and students.

As part of the visit, the VNUK delegation held a series of meetings with USAC (University Studies Abroad Consortium) and Chiang Mai University (CMU) to discuss future directions for academic collaboration.

USAC has been one of VNUK’s trusted international partners for many years. Each year, the consortium sends American students to study at VNUK, contributing to academic exchange, strengthening international engagement, and fostering a multicultural learning environment for VNUK students.
This visit was particularly significant as USAC served as a valuable bridge, facilitating VNUK’s opportunity to meet and work directly with Chiang Mai University—one of Thailand’s leading universities, located in Chiang Mai, the educational, research, and cultural hub of Northern Thailand.

During the visit, the delegation participated in a variety of academic and professional activities, including:
- Meeting with USAC leadership to discuss future international collaboration;
- Holding discussions with representatives of Chiang Mai University’s leadership;
- Observing an international student class to gain insights into the university’s teaching model and learning environment;
- Meeting with faculty members and academic staff to exchange experiences and explore potential areas of cooperation.

The visit concluded successfully, further strengthening VNUK’s relationships with prestigious regional partners. The connections established during this visit are expected to create new opportunities for academic exchange, international collaboration, research, and professional development for both VNUK students and faculty members in the years ahead.

VNUK would like to express its sincere appreciation to USAC and Chiang Mai University for their warm hospitality and for organizing a series of productive, engaging, and insightful working sessions. We look forward to further strengthening our partnership and creating lasting value together for the international academic community.
