The VNUK Institute for Research and Executive Education (VNUK) continues to expand its global partnership network through a recent meeting with MacEwan University (Canada), paving the way for future collaboration in academic exchange, talent development, and educational cooperation between Vietnam and Canada.
Strengthening Collaboration between VNUK and MacEwan University
As part of a working visit to the University of Danang, a delegation from MacEwan University (Canada) visited the VNUK Institute for Research and Executive Education for discussions on potential areas of collaboration.
VNUK was honoured to welcome Ms. Erin Wight, Director of MacEwan International, along with members of the delegation. The meeting was attended by VNUK’s leadership, representatives from the Office of Science, Technology and International Cooperation, and faculty leaders from various academic departments.
The visit provided an opportunity for both institutions to introduce their academic strengths, share their internationalisation strategies, and discuss future directions for cooperation.
Exploring Practical Areas of Partnership
During the meeting, VNUK and MacEwan University exchanged ideas on a range of collaborative initiatives aimed at advancing the internationalisation of higher education.
Both institutions expressed their interest in developing faculty, expert, and student exchange programmes, providing opportunities for academic staff and students to engage in cross-cultural learning, broaden international perspectives, and strengthen academic collaboration.
The two universities also discussed the possibility of jointly organising conferences, seminars, and academic forums, while enhancing connections with industry partners in both Vietnam and Canada. These initiatives are expected to expand institutional networks, strengthen university–industry collaboration, and create greater opportunities for learning, research, and professional development for students.
