As part of VNUK Job Fair 2026, the workshop “HR Career Insights” was held on the morning of March 5, 2026 at the Maker Innovation Space – VNUK, providing students with practical insights into the human resources field and recruitment expectations in an international working environment.

The workshop featured a guest speaker, Ms. Nguyen Thi Uyen Thư – HR Director at InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort. With extensive experience in human resource management within an international hospitality environment, the speaker offered students a clearer understanding of the role of the HR department in modern organizations.

Practical Insights from Industry

During the workshop, students had the opportunity to explore practical perspectives on human resource management in international businesses. Drawing from her experience in managing human resources in the luxury hospitality industry, the speaker emphasized the importance of communication skills, adaptability, and a professional service mindset—key foundations for long-term career development.

In addition, the discussion helped students gain a better understanding of current recruitment demands, as well as the qualities and competencies that employers expect from young candidates entering the labor market.
