    The University of Danang Ranked Among Vietnam’s Top 7 and in the 401–600 Global Band of the THE Impact Rankings 2026 for Contributions to the Sustainable Development Goals

    Recently, the Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings 2026 announced its overall results, with The University of Danang (UD) ranked among the Top 7 universities in Vietnam and placed in the 401–600 band globally.

    The ranking highlights UD’s significant contributions toward achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Notably, the university achieved strong performance in the following areas:

    • SDG 8 – Decent Work and Economic Growth: 68.4–74.0 points
    • SDG 4 – Quality Education: 60.0–64.0 points
    • SDG 3 – Good Health and Well-being: 43.8–51.5 points
    • SDG 17 – Partnerships for the Goals (mandatory indicator): 80.7–89.1 points

    The prestigious THE Impact Rankings, published by Times Higher Education (THE), is a global ranking framework that measures universities’ commitment and contributions to the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

    This accomplishment aligns with the spirit of Conclusion No. 45 of the Central Steering Committee, under which the University of Danang was selected as one of Vietnam’s four key national universities designated for strategic investment and development as a model for the country’s higher education system.
