Recently, the Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings 2026 announced its overall results, with The University of Danang (UD) ranked among the Top 7 universities in Vietnam and placed in the 401–600 band globally.

The ranking highlights UD’s significant contributions toward achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Notably, the university achieved strong performance in the following areas:
- SDG 8 – Decent Work and Economic Growth: 68.4–74.0 points
- SDG 4 – Quality Education: 60.0–64.0 points
- SDG 3 – Good Health and Well-being: 43.8–51.5 points
- SDG 17 – Partnerships for the Goals (mandatory indicator): 80.7–89.1 points
