Overview of CESINE

Established in 1993, in the coastal city of Santander, CESINE College of Business and Design (CESINE) is an international and advanced business university. With nearly 25 years of teaching experience, the school is regarded as one of the three best private universities in Spain.
CESINE also achieves 5-star certification for teaching excellence, facilities, internationalization, professional employability and comprehensiveness.
CESINE is one of the 16 best business universities in Spain (according to the Eduniversal ranking).
CESINE has been ranked 3rd best private university in Spain for international experience by Education First and PriceWaterhouseCoopers.

Program information

• This program is currently open to students majoring in International Business Administration (IBM).
• The transition period can be 01 semester or 02 semesters (01 academic year).

Transition form

• For the Bachelor degree of International Business Administration: students need to complete at least two years of study at VNUK.
• For International Certificate of Business Administration or International Certificate of Marketing: students need to complete at least 1 semester at VNUK.

Requirements to participate in the program

• Completed at least 02 years of study at VNUK;
• The overall academic average (GPA) at VNUK is from 2.5/4.0;
• IELTS certificate: minimum 5.5 or other equivalent English certificates. If the student does not have the required English certificate, CESINE University will have an English test to evaluate the student’s ability;
• Get the approval of the Dean/Head of Department to participate in the transfer program.

Cost of living

• Housing: €170-300 per month (more than 8 million VND per month).
• Food: €150 per month (4 million VND per month).

Part-time jobs for international students

International students are not allowed to work in Spain. Students need to contact CESINE University to update the latest information on student employment.
Note:
1. Before going to study abroad, students are usually required to study at VNUK. Therefore, if students participate in the Student Exchange Program abroad, it will be difficult to join the transfer program.
2. In the student transfer program, there will be an affiliate fee to be paid to VNUK. This funding is usually paid directly to VNUK by partner universities, with the exception of Monash University (Australia). Therefore, before students go to study at Monash University, students will complete this payment once to VNUK with the total cost of $4,000 AUD (equivalent to 68,456,000 VND) (applied for 2021).

Tuition

• Bachelor of International Business Management: €5,990 for one academic year (162 million VND per year).
• International Certificate of Business Administration (30 credits): tuition fee is €2,250 per year, one semester lasts from September to December or from January to May. With the accumulation of 30 credits, students can convert these credits when returning to study at VNUK.
• Certificate in International Business Environment or Certificate in International Marketing (60 credits): tuition fee is €4,500 per year. Students will take theoretical classes and participate in seminars combined with internship programs. If students study for 1 year to get this certificate, they will accumulate 60 credits and have 6 months of paid internship with a salary from €200 to €600 per month.
