On March 21, 2024 and April 16, 2024, more than 80 lecturers and students from the International Business Management (IBM) program at VNUK had the opportunity to visit and gain hands-on experience at the production plants and office facilities of Vina Mask International Company – a pioneer in the production, business, and export of high-quality products that meet Japanese medical standards.
Established in Da Nang, Vietnam in 2017, Vina Mask draws on over 15 years of experience in manufacturing medical masks and protective equipment for major markets such as Japan, China, and Thailand. The company has become a pioneer in the industry, producing and exporting medical masks, cleanroom protective gear, and industrial wipes that meet stringent medical standards in markets including the United States, Europe, China, and Japan, while maintaining long-term partnerships globally.
During the field trip, VNUK students were first introduced to the company’s overview, organizational structure, and office operations. They then continued with site visits to three major factories – the mask production plant, protective equipment plant, and industrial wipe plant – as well as the company’s warehouse. This provided students with valuable insights into how workers operate, produce final products, and manage inventory.
In addition, students had the opportunity to interact directly with the company’s leadership team. Their thoughtful responses and insights offered students a clearer picture of what it is like to work in a large-scale, international manufacturing enterprise such as Vina Mask.
