Recently, the VNUK Institute for Research and Executive Education, The University of Danang, had the pleasure of welcoming and working with Dr. Randy Kluver, Associate Provost and Dean of OSU Global, Oklahoma State University (USA).
The meeting provided an opportunity for both sides to discuss strategic directions for academic collaboration, contributing to the advancement of internationalization at VNUK.

Developing international dual degree programs
One of the key highlights of the meeting was the discussion on the potential implementation of dual degree programs between VNUK and international partner universities.
These programs are expected to offer students access to two education systems simultaneously, thereby enhancing academic capabilities, global competencies, and competitiveness in the international job market.

Expanding postgraduate study opportunities
In addition to undergraduate programs, both sides also explored opportunities to expand collaboration in postgraduate education, including Master’s and PhD programs.
In particular, the fields of Economics and Business were identified as priority areas, aligning with training orientations and the growing demand for high-quality human resources in the context of global integration.

Advancing VNUK’s internationalization strategy
The meeting with representatives from Oklahoma State University marks an important milestone in VNUK’s efforts to expand its global partnership network.
Through academic collaborations, VNUK aims to provide students and faculty with greater opportunities for study, research, and development in an international environment.
With a vision to become an international university environment, VNUK continues to strengthen partnerships with reputable institutions worldwide, contributing to the development of a modern, multicultural, and globally integrated education ecosystem.

Can VNUK students obtain an international degree?
The answer is yes. In addition to academic cooperation, VNUK offers a variety of international articulation programs, such as the 2+2 or 3+1 models.
With these pathways, students complete part of their studies at VNUK and the remaining period at partner universities abroad. Upon graduation, students can receive a bachelor’s degree awarded directly by the international partner university.

These programs not only help optimize study time and costs but also provide valuable opportunities to experience advanced education systems, enhance professional competencies, and expand global career prospects.
