1. Director of Department – Dr. Đặng Trung Thành
General responsibility: Accountable to the Institute’s Leadership for all activities of the Department.
1.1 Quality Assurance:
– Develop and implement short-term, medium-term, and long-term quality assurance plans.
– Advise on the issuance of regulations, procedures, and guidelines related to quality assurance.
– Lead self-assessment activities, stakeholder surveys, and monitor quality improvement.
– Build and promote a culture of quality across the Institute.
1.2 Graduation Affairs:
– Organize, direct, and supervise academic review and graduation review.
– Coordinate with relevant units in the issuance of diplomas and certificates.
– Advise the Institute Director on the establishment of graduation councils and recognition of graduation.
2. Deputy Director of Department – Dr. Đặng Thị Như Ý
(In charge of Testing and Academic Programs)
2.1 Testing:
– Develop and implement regulations and procedures related to testing and examinations.
– Manage the exam bank; organize test design, printing, confidentiality, and archiving.
– Organize examinations, grading, grade entry, re-marking, and report on examination results.
– Propose improvements in testing and assessment practices.
2.2 Academic Programs:
– Develop, review, revise, and update academic programs.
– Manage joint programs both domestically and internationally.
– Advise on the establishment of new majors and specializations.
3. Deputy Director of Department – Mr. Phạm Minh Việt
(In charge of Academic Planning, Teaching, and Admissions)
3.1 Academic Planning:
– Develop and implement the academic year plan, timetables, and teaching assignments.
– Monitor and supervise the implementation of teaching and learning plans.
3.2 Teaching Affairs:
– Manage teaching plans of Faculties/Departments.
– Coordinate the organization of general education modules (National Defense & Security Education, Physical Education, Political Theory, General Law).
3.3 Admissions:
– Support the Director of Department in advising and implementing annual admission plans.
– Coordinate with the Communications – Admissions Counseling unit and relevant departments.
– Monitor and report on admissions activities.
