On the afternoon of November 8, 2024, the Vietnam – UK Institute for Research and Education (VNUK), University of Danang, held the closing ceremony of the Summer Internship Programme (VNUK Summer Internship Programme – VSIP 2024) in an atmosphere full of excitement and pride. The event was an opportunity for students to look back on their meaningful internship journey and share valuable practical experiences. At the same time, it was also a chance for VNUK’s faculty and staff to acknowledge and encourage the efforts of the interns.
Attending the closing ceremony were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Giang Thi Kim Lien – Vice Director of VNUK; Dr. Nguyen Thi My Huong – Head of the Faculty of Business and Economics; Mr. Nguyen Van Hieu – Secretary of the Vietnam – UK Institute Youth Union; and MSc. Tran Thi Phuong Man – Head of the Career Service and Corporate Relations Unit.
In a warm and joyful atmosphere, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Giang Thi Kim Lien, who has accompanied the student internship programmes at VNUK, shared insightful thoughts on the importance of combining learning with practice. She also expressed her hope that VNUK students will be confident and well-prepared to explore and challenge themselves in the labor market, knowing that the Institute, along with its lecturers and staff, will always support them.

In addition, the students also received warm and motivating words from Dr. Nguyen Thi My Huong, Head of the Faculty of Business and Economics. She acknowledged the students’ dedicated efforts during their internships and expressed her hope that VNUK students will become even more dynamic and proactive in future activities at the Institute.

Also within the framework of this Closing Ceremony, VNUK Career Service congratulated and rewarded the students who were recognized as the “Best Interns of the Summer Internship 2024”, including: SV. Nguyễn Thị Diễm Quyên – International Commercial Business major and SV. Nguyễn Phúc Thiện An – International Tourism and Hospitality Management major.
