On the afternoon of October 23, 2023, the VNUK Institute for Research and Executive Education, University of Da Nang, hosted the Closing Ceremony of the VNUK Summer Internship Programme (VSIP 2023) in a warm and friendly atmosphere. The event served as a moment to reflect on the meaningful internship journey and hands-on experiences of the students, as well as an opportunity for VNUK’s lecturers and staff to acknowledge and encourage the dedication and efforts of the interns.

The closing ceremony was honored by the presence of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Giang Thi Kim Lien – Vice Dean of VNUK, Ms. Ngo Nguyen Bao Tran – Vice Head of the Faculty of International Business and Management, Ms. Nguyen Le Vy – Head of the Student Affairs Unit, Mr. Nguyen Tuong Vo – Head of the Career Services and Corporate Relations Unit, along with lecturers and staff members of VNUK who had accompanied the students throughout their internship journey.

In her speech, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Giang Thi Kim Lien, Vice Dean of VNUK, shared profound insights on the importance of combining academic learning with practical experience. She emphasized that the support and guidance from the institute, faculty, and staff play a crucial role in helping students become more confident as they step into the job market. The VSIP 2023 programme successfully provided a real-world working and learning environment that enabled students to grow professionally and become well-prepared for future challenges.

Student Talent and Experience

The ceremony began with a vibrant talent showcase by students from the International Business Management program. These performances not only highlighted the creativity and enthusiasm of the students but also served as a testament to the holistic development that VNUK strives to foster.

Another highlight of the ceremony was a video featuring the internship experiences of VNUK students. Through heartfelt and honest stories, the students expressed their personal growth and the valuable lessons they gained throughout the program.

Honoring Effort and Achievement

The final part of the ceremony — and perhaps the most symbolic — was the presentation of internship completion certificates to the participating students. Notably, Trương Thái Huy Hoàng, a 2021 cohort student majoring in International Business Management, was proudly awarded the title of “Best Intern of the Summer Internship Programme 2023.”
This recognition stands as a testament to Huy Hoàng’s continuous effort and dedication during his internship journey.
