The UK’s international organization for cultural cooperation and educational opportunity is known as the British Council. We are present on six continents, more than 100 countries, and many people are given international opportunities every day thanks to our daily operations.
The University of Danang and the British Council have a long history of cooperation. In 2010, the cooperation relationship grew even stronger when the Ministry of Education and Training appointed the University of Da Nang to coordinate with the British Council to develop the VN-UK International University project in Da Nang. The two parties made sure to work closely together during the project’s early stages. VNUK Institute for Research and Executive Education, part of the University of Danang, was established with significant support from the British Council. This marked the mind-blowing development as VNUK could be considered the first public-international university in Central Vietnam, laying the foundation for VN-UK International University. The British Council in Vietnam played a mutual role in linking partnerships between the two nations. Under the said effect, two remarkable business partners, Rolls-Royce International and Tate & Lyle have collaborated with the University of Danang to launch specific commitments.
When I first arrived in Da Nang, I was amazed but at the same time unfamiliar by what I experienced. But the teachers and students at VNUK in particular were very kind to assist carefully, as well as the residents of Da Nang in general were overly kind and welcoming. For me these are wonderful experiences and after returning home, I still remember the people and the worth-living beauty of Da Nang city.
