On 15 August 2026, the Vietnam–UK Institute for Research and Executive Education (VNUK), The University of Danang, was pleased to welcome nearly 40 experts, investors, and business representatives from Singapore, together with Bridgent, for a visit and working session at VNUK.
The visit provided an opportunity for the Singaporean delegates to explore VNUK’s academic, research, and innovation environment, while learning about projects, research initiatives, and innovative solutions in high-tech agriculture, biotechnology, innovative foods, and the circular economy.
Connecting Academia, Research, and Innovation
As part of the visit, the delegates were introduced to and engaged directly with a selection of innovation projects and research initiatives being developed at VNUK and within its partner ecosystem. The presentations focused on high-tech agriculture, biotechnology, innovative foods, and the circular economy, highlighting ideas, research, and solutions that seek to leverage knowledge and technology to address real-world challenges.
The activities not only provided international delegates with a deeper understanding of VNUK’s research and innovation capabilities, but also created opportunities for project teams to receive perspectives, practical insights, and feedback from businesses, investors, and international partners
A New Milestone in the Partnership between VNUK and Bridgent
One of the key highlights of the visit was the Signing Ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between VNUK and Bridgent.
The agreement establishes a foundation for both parties to further connect resources, knowledge, and partner networks, while pursuing long-term collaboration in education, research, business, and innovation.
The signing also marks a step forward in expanding VNUK’s international partnership network, creating greater opportunities for academic expertise, innovative initiatives, and projects in Vietnam to connect with regional partners, businesses, and investors.
Connecting People, Ideas, and Opportunities
Following the project presentations, the program featured a discussion and direct exchange session among the Singaporean delegates, VNUK representatives, and participating partners.
Through these exchanges, participants had the opportunity to share perspectives, experiences, and common interests in innovation, opening up possibilities for future connections and collaboration.
The visit served as an opportunity to connect people, ideas, and opportunities, further strengthening VNUK’s role as a bridge between education, research, business, and innovation, while expanding its international partnership network and bringing Vietnamese initiatives closer to regional partners.
