On July 25, 2025, the Vietnam-UK Institute for Research and Executive Education (VNUK), University of Danang, was honored to host the second working day of the 2nd International Conference on Health Science and Technology (ICHST 2025).
The conference is a significant academic event co-organized by the University of Danang, Hanoi University of Science and Technology, the University of Connecticut (USA), and the Association of Vietnamese Scientists and Experts Global (AVSE Global). Held biennially, ICHST aims to foster global scientific collaboration, disseminate knowledge, and promote innovation in the fields of biomedical science and health technology.
ICHST 2025 welcomed nearly 150 delegates, including scientists, experts, business representatives, and university leaders from various countries such as the United States, China, Japan, India, Australia, Singapore, Switzerland, and the United Arab Emirates. Additionally, six partner institutions participated in showcasing and exhibiting advanced products and technologies in health science.
The organizing committee received 105 research papers submitted by research groups and scholars from 16 countries and territories. Selected papers will be published in the IEEE Xplore® database, reaffirming the academic quality and expanding the international impact of the conference.
Within the program, VNUK contributed three scientific papers presented by its faculty members. VNUK lecturers also participated in presentations and in-depth discussions at the following thematic sessions:
Session 1: Biological and Medical Sciences
Session 2: Biomaterials and Drug Delivery
Hosting the second day of ICHST 2025 marked a significant milestone in VNUK’s academic journey and opened up numerous opportunities for international collaboration and networking. The event also promoted interdisciplinary research activities, the development of new research groups, and provided both lecturers and students with access to cutting-edge scientific trends — thereby enhancing the quality of education and research at the Institute.
