On August 1, 2025, the Vietnam–UK Institute for Research and Executive Education (VNUK), University of Danang, held a meeting and working session with the Center for Research and Training in IC Design and Artificial Intelligence (DSAC).
This was a meaningful occasion for the two units to connect, share strategic visions, and open up pathways for extensive cooperation in the field of high technology.

During the session, Mr. Lê Hoàng Phúc shared valuable insights into the development of key technology sectors such as IC design, artificial intelligence, and semiconductors.
In addition to providing a comprehensive overview of technology trends, state support policies, and the urgent demand for high-quality human resources, DSAC also introduced several ongoing initiatives, including intensive training programs, international cooperation projects, research and application development, business networking, and fostering local innovation.
Dr. Nguyễn Hiệp acknowledged the alignment in direction between the two sides and affirmed the desire to build a sustainable cooperative relationship.
On behalf of VNUK, he also shared the institute’s strategy to develop international training programs, enhance applied research capacity, strengthen connections with enterprises, and, in particular, create opportunities for students to access a practical environment rich in creativity and technology.
The discussion opened up potential for in-depth cooperation in the fields of artificial intelligence (AI), IC design, and semiconductor industry development—key areas in Vietnam’s digital transformation and digital economy strategies.
This marks a concrete step by VNUK in its effort to connect with local innovation support and research centers, contributing to realizing the strategy of linking academia with the city’s technology ecosystem.
