On July 25, the VN-UK Institute for Research and Executive Education (VNUK), University of Danang, had the honor of hosting the second day of the 2nd International Conference on Health Science and Technology (ICHST 2025).
The prestigious international conference is jointly organized by the University of Danang, Hanoi University of Science and Technology, the University of Connecticut (USA), and AVSE Global.
The conference aims to create an interdisciplinary academic forum where scientists, experts, businesses, and research organizations from Vietnam and abroad can connect, exchange, and present innovative research and applied technological solutions in the fields of biomedical sciences and public health.

ICHST 2025 brought together nearly 150 participants, including scientists, industry experts, entrepreneurs, and university leaders from countries such as the United States, China, Japan, India, Australia, Singapore, Switzerland, and the United Arab Emirates. The event also featured six partner organizations showcasing exhibitions of advanced scientific and health technology products.
The conference received 105 papers and presentations from researchers across 16 countries and territories, with selected papers to be published on the IEEE Xplore® system—contributing to global knowledge dissemination and international research visibility.

As a participating institution, VNUK contributed three scientific papers presented by its faculty members. In addition, many lecturers from VNUK actively joined panel discussions in the following thematic sessions:

Session 2: Biomaterials and Drug Delivery
By hosting this conference day, VNUK not only strengthened its ties with the international academic network but also fostered interdisciplinary research and expanded collaborations with experts, universities, and enterprises in the healthcare and technology sectors.
The event also provided a valuable opportunity for VNUK’s faculty and students to engage with cutting-edge scientific trends—right at the heart of their own institution.
