Many applicants have taken competency assessment examinations in 2026 but may not yet know that their results can be used to apply for admission to the VN-UK Institute for Research and Executive Education – The University of Danang (VNUK).
Notably, 2026 is the first year in which VNUK accepts results from the competency assessment examinations organised by Vietnam National University, Hanoi and Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City for undergraduate admission. This provides applicants with an additional opportunity to make use of their examination results, expand their admission options, and take greater initiative in choosing a suitable field of study.
Applicants only need to spend a few minutes submitting their information through the VNUK admissions system. However, only three days remain before the system officially closes at:
5:00 p.m. on June 15, 2026.
Applicants who have not yet completed the submission process are encouraged to do so as soon as possible to avoid missing the opportunity to apply to VNUK in 2026.
Accepted Competency Assessment Results
VNUK accepts applications based on the following results:
- Results of the 2026 High School Student Assessment examination organised by Vietnam National University, Hanoi – the HSA examination;
- Results of the 2026 competency assessment examination organised by Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City – the V-ACT examination.
Submitting competency assessment results provides applicants with an additional admission pathway alongside other available methods. This can increase their opportunities for admission and help them select a programme that matches their abilities, interests, and career goals.
