1. Guide to registering university admission preferences in 2023
Candidates can register their university admission preferences for 2023 on the Ministry of Education and Training’s system through the following steps:
Step 1: Log in
– Access the website: thisinh.thitotnghiepthpt.edu.vn
– Username: ID card number/Citizen ID/Identification code
– Password: To log in to the system, candidates must use the password provided when registering for the exam. If the password was changed afterward, use the updated password.
Then, enter the verification code and click Log in.

Step 2: Access the “Provide Admission Data” function
– First, candidates select the “Provide Admission Data” option on the top-left corner of the screen to begin the registration process.

Candidates can view the available sources of admission data:
High School Graduation Exam Scores (THPT exam scores)
High School Transcript (Academic Records)
Competency Assessment Test Scores (ĐGNL scores)
Other admission data
The system will automatically select the THPT exam scores, high school transcripts, and ĐGNL scores (if available) for the candidate. Candidates may deselect any of these options. Additionally, candidates need to manually select any other admission data they wish to provide.
Step 3: Access the “Register Admission Information” Function
– Candidates select the “Register Admission Information” option on the left-hand corner of the screen to begin the registration process.

– To start registering your admission preferences, candidates click the “Add Preference” button on the screen.

– A form for adding a new preference will appear. Candidates enter the following information: Preference order, School code, Major code, Training level, and Program.
Example: If a candidate wants to study Software Engineering under the Computer Science major at VN-UK Institute For Research and Executive Education, University of Danang (VNUK), they should fill in the information as follows:
Preference order: 1
School code: DDV – Vietnam – UK Institute, University of Danang
Major code: 7480101-SE – Computer Science – Software Engineering specialization

Note: Groups of majors, individual majors, and programs are categorized according to the university’s admission methods. Candidates should carefully research and read the instructions to avoid selecting the wrong major or admission method.

– After entering all the required information, candidates click the “Select” button to save the data.
– Once the new preferences are added, the system will display the candidate’s list of registered preferences as follows.

– To add another preference, candidates continue to click “Add Preference” and follow the steps outlined above.
– Candidates then select “Next” to save the list of registered preferences.

– Next, the system will prompt candidates to confirm their registration by sending a text message in the format: TSO <ID number> to 6058. An OTP verification code will be sent to the candidate’s phone number. The candidate enters the OTP code into the “Enter verification code” field and clicks “Confirm Registration” to complete the registration process.

Step 4.1: Changing the order of preferences
– To change the order of preferences, candidates enter the new order number in the “Preference Order” field (for example, in the image below, the candidate wants to swap Preference 1 to Preference 2, and Preference 2 to Preference 1).
– Then click the “Sort by Preference Order” button to arrange the preferences in ascending order, from Preference 1 to the candidate’s last preference.

– After clicking the “Sort by Preference Order” button, the system will rearrange the preferences in ascending order.
Step 4.2: Delete a preference
– To delete a preference, the candidate clicks on the red “Trash Bin” icon of that preference.

– A confirmation window will appear on the screen. The candidate clicks the “Agree” button to confirm the deletion of this preference from the current list of registered university preferences.

Note: Candidates can perform any of the following actions: rearrange the order of preferences, or delete, edit, or add new preferences.
Step 4.3: Edit a preference
– To edit a preference in the list, the candidate clicks the “Pencil” icon of that preference.
– The candidate then enters the updated preference information as shown in the figure below:

Step 5: Save information
– After adjusting the preference information, the candidate clicks the “Save Information” button.
– Then, the candidate clicks “Confirm Registration”. The preference information will be saved in the system, which may take a few minutes to verify and update the data.
– Once the system confirms, candidates can still change their preferences if the registration period is not over.
Step 6: Review registered information
– After successfully registering or adjusting preferences, exit the registration function and log out of the system.
– Log in again and access the Online Preference Registration function.
– On the preference information page, candidates can print the updated list of preferences for their records.
Step 7: Pay the registration fee
– To make the payment, the candidate clicks the “Pay” button.
– Review the Payment Confirmation information and click the “Confirm Payment” button.

Note:
– To successfully complete the university admission registration, candidates must follow all the steps and cannot skip or stop before completing the final step.
When will the 2023 high school graduation exam results be announced?
According to the preparation and organization plan for the 2023 high school graduation exam in Appendix II issued with Official Letter 1515/BGDĐT-QLCL, the results of the 2023 high school graduation exam will be announced at 8:00 AM on July 18, 2023.
