Congratulations to VNUK students for officially winning First Prize at the “University of Danang Scientific Research Student Awards” for the academic year 2024–2025
On the morning of October 12, 2025, at the University of Danang Urban Area, the Award Ceremony for the “University of Danang Scientific Research Student Awards” for the academic year 2024–2025 and the 7th Young Innovation Festival 2025 took place in a formal yet vibrant atmosphere, with the participation of the university’s leadership, representatives from government agencies, departments, businesses, as well as a large number of lecturers and students.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Ngọc Vũ – President of the University of Danang – presented the First Prize of the 2024–2025 Scientific Research Student Awards.
With the theme “A new generation of students with breakthroughs in science and technology,” the program is an important annual academic event that aims to honor outstanding research projects, promote innovation, and spread scientific spirit among students across the University of Danang.

Leaders of the University of Danang and Viettel Danang (a branch of the Viettel Military Industry and Telecoms Group) signed a cooperation agreement.
Among the 27 excellent projects selected for the final round, the student team from the Vietnam–UK Institute for Research and Executive Education, University of Danang (VNUK) – Trần Thị Thanh Thanh and Phan Thị Minh Hằng (Class of 2023, Materials Technology), under the supervision of Dr. Lê Hoàng Sinh – Head of the Faculty of Science and Technology – won First Prize in the field of Engineering & Technology, Natural Sciences, and Medical & Pharmaceutical Sciences with their project: “Developing environmentally friendly electrolytes for sustainable electrochromic devices: A green approach for smart greenhouses.”
At the program, the University of Danang signed cooperation agreements with Viettel Danang, a branch of the Military Industry and Telecoms Group, and M_SERVICE JSC (MoMo), focusing on supporting students in scientific research and talent development; building a smart university and driving digital transformation, contributing to a modern, safe, and student-friendly academic environment.

The collaboration among the “three partners” brings many opportunities for student researchers.
At the Young Innovation Festival, delegates and students visited and experienced the exhibition showcasing outstanding scientific research and innovation products by University of Danang students, with over 50 projects and products displayed at booths, reflecting the dynamic landscape of student research achievements, applications, and potential.

These activities contribute to elevating the reputation and position of the University of Danang in its mission to train high-quality human resources for regional and national development.
Participating students also engaged in discussions with distinguished speakers who are managers and experts in scientific research, entrepreneurship, and innovation, including: Mr. Võ Đức Anh, Deputy Director of the Danang Innovation Startup Support Center; Dr. Trịnh Công Duy, Lecturer at the Faculty of Information Technology, Danang University of Science and Technology – Microsoft GTP Interedu Vietnam Expert; and Trần Nhân Kiệt, student of VNUK and member of Team BINKS (winner of the Social Impact Project Prize and the MOET’s SV_STARTUP competition). These exchanges provided motivation and inspiration for students in learning, research, creativity, and entrepreneurship.

Speakers shared their journeys from ideas to applying AI and scientific knowledge in innovative startups.
