About the Partner – Japan Society for Distribution Sciences (JSDS)
JSDS is a prestigious academic society, established in November 1987, with the mission of becoming an interdisciplinary research organization. Today, the research scope of JSDS members extends beyond logistics, commerce, and marketing to cover agricultural, forestry, and fishery logistics; logistics policies and economic law; logistics and information systems; services; consumer issues and cooperatives; as well as international trade and distribution. Thanks to this broad scope, JSDS has become an influential interdisciplinary research organization that contributes significantly to policy-making by the Japanese government.
