“As tradition goes,” the Vietnam–UK Institute for Research and Executive Education (VNUK) kicks off the September semester by welcoming the return of students from Northern Europe (Norway, Sweden) with the Fall 2025 Development Studies program! This marks an important milestone in VNUK’s international cooperation journey while opening up multicultural learning experiences for students from both sides.

Kulturstudier and the Development Studies Scholarship
Kulturstudier, headquartered in Norway, is an organization that provides multinational academic programs for international students. In Vietnam, Kulturstudier collaborates with VNUK to deliver the Development Studies module – where students explore global issues related to sustainable development.

Each semester, Kulturstudier offers special Development Studies Scholarships for VNUK students. With this program, VNUK-ers live and study alongside international peers for 10 weeks in Hoi An, immersed in cultural diversity and taught by lecturers from both Kulturstudier and VNUK.
What are the benefits of this scholarship?
By applying for the full scholarship from Kulturstudier, VNUK students will receive:
– Tuition fee: 0 VND
– Free IELTS test
– 10 weeks living and studying with international peers
– Living allowance of up to 300 USD
– Participation in field trips such as Da Nang Museum, a 2-day-1-night stay at an ethnic Co Tu village, etc.
– Many other exciting and valuable activities

Kulturstudier Fall 2025 at VNUK
Every semester, VNUK is honored to welcome Kulturstudier’s international students who join classes at the Institute every Monday for 8 weeks. The Fall 2025 semester promises to be vibrant with more than 50 international students from Northern Europe. Notably, this time there are 08 VNUK representatives joining:
– 04 full scholarship recipients, living and studying full-time in Hoi An.
– 04 Ambassadors, actively participating in field trips, classes, and weekly cultural exchange activities every Monday.

With the return of Kulturstudier, VNUK once again affirms its position as a hub of international cooperation in Central Vietnam, bringing diverse and meaningful learning experiences to students. This event also opens the door for even more international students to come to VNUK in the future, fostering a dynamic and multicultural academic environment.
