On November 28, 2025, at the National Convention Center in Hanoi, students of the Vietnam–UK Institute for Research and Executive Education (VNUK), The University of Danang, were honored with a Certificate of Merit for the “National Startup Contribution Award” at the National Startup Forum 2025.
Highlights at the National Entrepreneurship Forum 2025
The National Startup Forum 2025 is a major annual event that attracts thousands of participants, including leaders of governmental bodies and ministries, foreign embassies, investment funds, economic experts, and the startup community. Notably, this year’s event brought together more than 50 Associate Professors, PhD holders, and university presidents from higher education institutions and academies across 34 provinces and cities in Vietnam.
With an in-depth discussion theme of “Developing Human Capital for Startups and Innovation in the New Era,” VNUK students were recognized by the Awards Council for their outstanding contributions to technological advancement, innovation, and the development of a robust national startup ecosystem.
Several reputable institutions—such as the University of Economics (UD), universities and colleges in the Da Nang–Quang Nam area, and institutions within the industrial education sector—were also honored at the event, demonstrating the growing influence of the entrepreneurship movement within the education system.

The achievements of VNUK students are not only a source of pride for each individual and project team but also a driving force for VNUK to continue strengthening its innovation ecosystem, supporting and empowering young talents on their journey to turn ideas into impactful initiatives.

- Supporting approximately 100 community-based startup projects annually.
- Launching innovative spaces such as the Maker Innovation Space and Startup Hub, providing collaborative environments for students.

A key factor that enabled VNUK students to achieve this prestigious recognition is the institute’s strategic emphasis on the “Triple Helix Model”: University – Government – Business.
VNUK actively establishes strategic partnerships with leading investment funds and enterprises, including FundGo, Summit Capital, Quest Ventures, Medoo Vietnam, FIVESS, MAKEAI, Onion, TripIn, REBO, and many others.
