II. Admission Methods

1. Direct Admission Direct admission in accordance with the Ministry of Education and Training’s enrollment regulations. This method also applies to students completing international high school and vocational high school programs.
2. High School Graduation Exam Results (*) Total score of 3 exam subjects in the selected subject combination, with corresponding weightings, converted to a 30-point scale.
3. Academic Transcript Review (*) ADMISSION SCORE = HIGH SCHOOL GPA SCORE + BONUS POINTS + PRIORITY POINTS
4. VNUHCM Competency Assessment Exam Results (*) ADMISSION SCORE = (CAE SCORE ÷ 40) + BONUS POINTS + PRIORITY POINTS
5. VNU Hanoi Competency Assessment Exam Results (*) ADMISSION SCORE = (CAE SCORE ÷ 5) + BONUS POINTS + PRIORITY POINTS
6. Combined Admission (*) ADMISSION SCORE = INTERVIEW SCORE + (SUBJECT SCORE × 2 ÷ 3) + BONUS POINTS + PRIORITY POINTS

(*) The combined score of 3 exam subjects in the selected combination (or using scores from Mathematics, Literature, and one other subject) must be at least 15 out of 30.

III. Bonus & Priority Points Policy (Maximum total bonus: up to 10%)

1. Achievement Bonus (up to 3.0 points) For students who have won prizes in National Excellent Student Competitions, Science & Technology competitions, ASEAN regional and international vocational skills competitions, or international vocational competitions designated by the Ministry of Education and Training:

• 1st Prize: +3.0
• 2nd Prize: +2.5
• 3rd Prize: +2.0

2. Merit Bonus (up to 3.0 points) Applied to various outstanding academic achievements:

• Bonus range: +0.5 – 1.5 points

3. Incentive Points Additional points for holding International Certificates:

• IELTS from 5.0 → +0.5 to +1.5 points
• MOS (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) → +0.5 per skill
