DAVAS 2025 is a large-scale event that brings together key players in the startup ecosystem—from angel investors and venture capital funds to promising startups. Through the summit, Da Nang aims to position itself as an attractive destination for both domestic and international investors while supporting startups in gaining access to funding, experts, and experienced mentors in the field of innovation.

Earlier, on May 29, as part of DAVAS 2025 week, VNUK collaborated with the Danang Innovative Startup Support Center (DISSC) to organize the program “Visit and Work at the VNUK Maker Innovation Space.” This served as the opening activity for a series of events connecting the city’s innovation and startup ecosystem.

During the program, guests learned about the journey of establishing and developing VNUK’s innovation space, its practice-oriented teaching models, and the specific support available to student entrepreneurs.

Mr. Vo Duc Anh – Director of DISSC – acknowledged VNUK’s efforts in linking higher education with the startup ecosystem and highly valued the university’s pioneering role in promoting innovation-driven thinking right from the lecture halls.

In particular, Tran Nhan Kiet, CEO of BINKS JSC – one of VNUK’s outstanding startup projects – shared his journey in building a globally-oriented business model. With its innovative product and sustainable business approach, BINKS attracted strong interest from young investors at the summit.

The program concluded with a tour of the Maker Space – VNUK’s student-led invention and experimentation hub, where innovative ideas are transformed into tangible products.

The enthusiastic response from the startup community and investors at DAVAS 2025 clearly demonstrates the potential and right development direction of VNUK. By joining the SIC network and proactively expanding its connections, VNUK continues to affirm its role as a bridge between academia and practice, nurturing courageous, creative global citizens who are ready to create sustainable values for society.
