On July 29, 2025, at the VN-UK Maker Innovation Space, lecturers and students from the Faculty of Economics & Business, along with faculty members from other departments at VNUK, attended the seminar: “Towards Vietnam’s Future: Key Insights on Innovation Capabilities and the Power of Digital Twins.”

The event was jointly organized by the Vietnam-UK Institute for Research and Training (VNUK), University of Danang, and the Vietnamese Intellectuals in the UK and Ireland (VIS), featuring two distinguished speakers:

• Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Huan – President of VIS, Middlesex University

• Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yen Tran – Vice President of VIS, Heriot-Watt University

Key Highlights of the Seminar

The seminar provided in-depth analysis and insights on:

• Innovation capabilities – a crucial factor in the current socio-economic development context.

• Applications of Digital Twins technology – a cutting-edge solution playing a strategic role in Vietnam’s digital transformation and sustainable development.

Beyond updating participants on the latest technology trends, the seminar also served as a platform for networking between lecturers, students, and international experts, opening up numerous opportunities for academic collaboration and research in the future.
