General Objectives

The program’s overall goal is to train high-quality human resources to meet the needs of the domestic and international labor market in the field of Nanotechnology. Application-oriented research is a main goal for Nanotechnology’s Bachelor. Graduates of this program are equipped with world-class knowledge and skills, complete career prospects, the ability to study at higher levels, and lifelong learning.

Specific Objectives

The training objective of this Bachelor’s program in Nanotechnology is to provide students with:

  • A solid foundation in the fundamental principle of Nanotechnology: Physical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Mathematics, Analytical Chemistry, Synthesis of Nanomaterials, and modern complementary knowledge such as quantum mechanics, solid-state physics, surface interactions ...
  • Ability to apply knowledge, research methods, techniques, and diverse working skills to solve real-life problems in the modern working environment.
  • Skills to address the requirements of Nanotechnology industry through new, flexible approaches that are able to change and adapt to a given context.
  • Communication, employment, and transformation skills help graduates make valuable contributions to the company and the community, as well as motivating them to think positively about their direction of personal development and lifelong learning.
  • A sense of responsibility, professional ethics, understanding of political and social issues.

The objective of this curriculum is to train research scientists, engineers, and consultants to manage and operate Nanotechnology with good skills, along with multi-dimensional and multi-disciplinary knowledge. Students are taught in English throughout the training program. Thereby, the program will prepare students on a solid basis to access a broader working environment, provide opportunities for career development, and help students confidently enter the labor market at the same time integration period. The program has three main application group orientations for students after graduation, namely Nanoelectronics, Biomedical Nano and advanced Nano materials.

Output

A student must obtain these following skills in order to possess a Bachelor Degree in Nanotechnology

  • Explain the basic knowledge of chemistry, physics, biology, and technology; structures, sizes, properties, and interactions of the components at the nanoscale.
  • Apply basic principles to understand and solve problems related to Nanotechnology and specialized fields.
  • Properly use basic and advanced experimental procedures in the field of Nanotechnology and proficiently use some specialized software.
  • Communicate fluently through forms, achieve IELTS 6.0 or equivalent; Capable of working independently and in a team.
  • Work independently and cooperatively.
  • Critical, creative, and entrepreneurial thinking skills.
  • Social responsibility and professional ethics in the field of nanotechnology.
