The transfer program helps VNUK students have the opportunity to study at VNUK’s partner universities under a joint training agreement with many different methods such as 2 + 2 or 3 + 1. This cooperation helps students prepare well for their studying at VNUK in the first period, reduce the costs of studying abroad and receive degrees from prestigious universities in the world.
The transition program provides numerous major benefits that parents and children should consider. The first consideration is cost effectiveness. Students pay tuition fees according to VNUK regulations during the first years of their studies in Vietnam, and only pay tuition fees for international universities in the remaining 1-2 years. As a result, students can save money because the costs in Vietnam are substantially lower than the costs of studying overseas for four years. Students enrolled in a 3+1 transfer program, for example, will study for three years at VNUK and spend their final year at Aston University. Students can still gain practical experience in the UK and receive degrees from Aston University, which is ranked among the world’s top 500 leading and prominent universities.
The second advantage is the diversity of experiences.Students participating in a transfer program have the opportunity to experience two different university environments, including in Vietnam and in the country of the partner university when compared to students studying abroad in a single country. Each setting delivers a unique set of skills and experiences that will enrich your knowledge, broaden your network of friends and teachers. This also helps you become more independent than before during four years of study, compared to those who only experience only one learning environment.
The third advantage is the well-planned program for students graduating from high-school. In fact, the majority of high-school students are still undecided about the major that they are actually passionate about. Therefore, beginning their studies abroad immediately can be tough if they don’t have enough time to learn about their major, university, and the foreign country. Furthermore, they may have focused too much on studies during high school, leaving them little time to be prepared for living in a different nation. Many students, in particular, lack the English language abilities required to study effectively in an entirely English-speaking setting. Hence, studying for 1-2 years in Vietnam through the VNUK transfer program would help students enhance their English abilities as well as the necessary skills to be independent in a foreign environment.
The quality of the partner university that welcomes transfer students is the next thing that parents and students should consider. In general, the higher the partner university’s ranking, the higher the quality of the initial training program in Vietnam which is required for a transfer agreement. The overseas partner universities must undertake an examination to ensure that the initial program in Vietnam has the equivalent quality as at the partner universities. Students will be able to convert credits earned in Vietnam when transferring to study abroad thanks to the transfer cooperation agreement.
