Output Standards

Students completing the program of International Business and Commerce at VNUK are expected to fulfill the following output standards:

  • Understand and apply learned concepts, theories, principles and processes in economics, business and trade in the context of globalization.
  • Analyze the impact of political, economic, legal, social, ethical, technological, and environmental factors at the local, national, and international levels on strategy, behavior, and commercial activities of an organization in the context of international integration.
  • Develop commercial business strategies in the global marketplace by applying knowledge and skills in finance, trade, foreign trade, marketing, international trade legislation to strengthen the competitive position of the business.
  • Develop start-up projects and international trade in the global economy which focuses on human resources.
  • Be able to utilize quantitative analysis tools based on big data used for operations of trading activities and making decisions in organizations and enterprises.
  • Apply critical thinking, creative thinking, systems thinking, computational thinking, analytical thinking and problem solving for business and management activities, and in the process of international integration of enterprises.
  • Participate in the bootcamp program with at least 04 workshops on professional skills, career path orientation and earn required certificates.
  • Be fluent in English and in the use of information computer tools.
  • Have a growth mindset, have the ability to adapt, face and overcome difficulties and challenges.
  • Have personal and professional ethics and a sense of responsibility to the community and society towards sustainable development.

Graduation Requirements

Graduates majoring in International Business and Commerce are expected to meet the following requirements:

  • Accumulate sufficient knowledge of the training program;
  • Fully complete the Political Education and Physical Education modules as prescribed;
  • Earn a certificate of National Defense and Security Education;
  • Meet second language output standards;
  • Meet Informatics output standards;
  • Earn a certificate of participating in a project with a foreign individual or having worked for an organization with international elements, or having participated in an international exchange program, short-term visit, student exchange or transfer program to foreign universities;
  • Students must participate in the bootcamp program with at least 04 workshops on professional skills, career path orientation and earn required certificates.
