Your role and Responsibilities We are looking for motivated candidates, who should have a Master or PhD degree in biomedical science or related areas, with a good track record in research with international publication outputs. We expect the appointee can contribute significantly to one of the following research areas: Molecular Diagnosis, Genomic Analysis and Modification, Enzymology, Natural Products, Pharmacology, and Computational Biology. As a researcher, the appointee will independently carry out research in biomedical science in collaboration with your colleagues, write grant applications and instruct students. In addition to conducting research, the appointee will teach in the undergraduate classes collaboratively participate in the activities, service, and life of the department as well as with other disciplines at the institute level and will establish meaningful connections to broader academic, professional, commercial and/or public communities. The applicant will be expected to develop and deliver assigned course(s) under the direction of the Department Head and may also work with student teams on practicum projects. The applicant should be willing to work on VNUK’s administrative work such as recruitment, quality assurance or other tasks assigned. Requirements Applicants should have a Master or PhD in one of the following (or related) fields from an English-speaking programme in an accredited institution:
  • Biomedical Science

The applicant should demonstrate ability to produce scholarly work at a high level, as well as show the capability of becoming outstanding lecturer. Fluency in written and spoken English is a requirement and knowledge of different cultures is an advantage. As an applicant, you should have experience of working well in teams, of working in interdisciplinary environments and collaborating with surrounding society. You should be able to manage resources in a cost-effective way and enable the development of the organization. The following skills are an advantage for the position:
  • 1-2 Years of teaching experience

FURTHER INFORMATION During the appointment as a lecturer/ researcher, you will work 70% as lecturer/ researcher and 30% as administrative staff of the department. Công tác sinh viên - Thông báo tới sinh viên các quy chế, quy định, lịch thi, các chế độ, chính sách…; Giải quyết các công việc liên quan đến công tác sinh viên theo đúng quy định của Viện. - Tham gia đánh giá kết quả rèn luyện đối với sinh viên/ học viên của các lớp thuộc khoa quản lý; tổng hợp kết quả đánh giá rèn luyện từng học kỳ và lập danh sách đề nghị khen thưởng sinh viên; - Tổ chức, hướng dẫn và hỗ trợ sinh viên trong quan trình thực tập, đề tài khóa luận tốt nghiệp/ luận văn tốt nghiệp; 3. Công tác giáo vụ khoa - Hoàn thiện thủ tục, hồ sơ mời giảng viên thỉnh giảng trong và ngoài trường; Thực hiện thủ tục thanh toán giờ giảng cho giảng viên thỉnh giảng - Tổng hợp đề thi; Xếp lịch thi và lịch coi thi; Vào điểm và quản lý điểm của sinh viên trên phần mềm quản lý điểm; - Phối hợp hỗ trợ và giải quyết phúc tra, phúc khảo, đóng học phí, đăng ký học phần, nghỉ học, bỏ học, bảo lưu…; - Tham gia công tác kiểm định theo sự phân công của Viện và Tổ. 4. Công tác tuyển sinh của Khoa - Tham gia công tác tuyển sinh, làm đề án, dự án của Viện và của Tổ khi được điều động. YÊU CẦU - Tốt nghiệp Đại học trở lên tại các trường Đại học công lập của Việt Nam hoặc các trường Đại học nước ngoài; - Có khả năng giao tiếp bằng tiếng Anh và kỹ năng tin học tốt; - Có khả năng giao tiếp tốt và xử lí vấn đề; - Cẩn thận, có tinh thần trách nhiệm và khả năng chịu áp lực trong công việc; - Ưu tiên ứng viên có kinh nghiệm về công tác đào tạo và có kinh nghiệm làm việc tại các cơ sở giáo dục. Các yêu cầu khác: - Có kỹ năng tổ chức, sắp xếp và lập kế hoạch công việc. - Trung thực, cẩn thận, tỉ mỉ, có trách nhiệm trong công việc. - Chăm chỉ, ham học hỏi, chịu được áp lực cao trong công việc. - Khả năng giao tiếp, xử lý tình huống linh hoạt, nhạy bén.
