Talking about his hobbies, Hoàng Minh shared:
“Since I was a child, I have loved action and martial arts movies. These films instill in viewers – and in myself – the belief in limitless potential, showing that one can be both flexible and strong when needed.”
One of his biggest inspirations comes from a quote by his idol Bruce Lee:
“Empty your mind.
Be formless, shapeless, like water.
You put water into a cup, it becomes the cup.
You put water into a bottle, it becomes the bottle.
You put it into a teapot, it becomes the teapot.
Now water can flow or it can crash.
Be water, my friend.”
Journey to earning the Talent Scholarship in Biomedical Science
Hoàng Minh approached his scholarship interview with a relaxed and confident spirit. When he received the news that he had been awarded the Merit Talent Scholarship, he felt a mix of pride and surprise.
“I didn’t think my interview was perfect, but perhaps the professors saw the potential in me, so they entrusted me with this scholarship. I will work even harder to live up to their expectations,” he shared.
With a strong command of English and a passion for scientific research, Hoàng Minh is determined to pursue the 100% English-taught Biomedical Science program at VNUK. He said:
“After researching the program, I found it very interesting and promising. This field offers many approaches to medicine, especially through genetics or disease prevention via vaccines and medications. It can bring significant benefits to the community.”
With the Talent Scholarship in Biomedical Science, Hoàng Minh has secured his “golden ticket” to become a K23 student at VNUK. Over the next four years, he hopes to contribute meaningful value to the Institute and explore many opportunities to pursue a scientific career in the future.
We wish Hoàng Minh success in achieving his goals and look forward to seeing him thrive at VNUK!
