INTRODUCTION TO SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY ACTIVITIES AT VNUK

In recent years, Science and Technology has truly become a part of the country’s productive force, exerting a comprehensive and profound impact on the development of every organization and nation. Science and Technology plays a decisive role in the quality of growth and competitiveness.

Scientific research, application, development, and technology transfer are important criteria for evaluating the quality of higher education institutions. In university ranking and classification systems, scientific research always holds a crucial position and role. Research activities positively contribute to enhancing the quality of education and training. Recognizing the importance of scientific research and technology transfer, the leadership of the University of Danang and the VNUK Institute for Research and Executive Education (VNUK) have set the goal of “continuing to develop the institution towards a research-oriented model, aiming to meet university classification criteria and achieve recognition from national and international accreditation organizations.”

With the objective of maintaining and developing a team of competent, creative, and responsible scientists who make practical contributions to training for the business community and society, in addition to increasing the number of research projects at various levels, VNUK’s scientific management orientation has gradually shifted towards a strategic perspective—diversifying partnerships, expanding cooperation across multiple fields, and fostering strong connections with local authorities and the business community.

Scope of Science and Technology Activities:

  • Research projects funded by the state budget, including national-level projects, ministry-level projects, regional university-level projects, and institutional-level projects managed by VNUK.
  • Scientific research and technology transfer projects in collaboration with enterprises and localities.
