A Personal Motto Behind the Scholarship Success
Khải sums up his journey with a personal mantra:
“We are responsible for our own lives, not anyone else.”
That belief drives him to live without regrets — to dream boldly, act decisively, and constantly push his limits to reach where he wants to go.
In his free time, Khải recharges by playing sports like football, shuttlecock kicking, and running to stay physically and mentally fit. He also enjoys reading to enrich his inner world.
The Merit Scholarship Rewarded a Relentless Effort
Upon learning he had received the Merit Scholarship, Khải was overwhelmed with joy, having reached a goal he had long set his sights on. He shared that the scholarship not only eases the financial burden on his family but also allows him to focus on his studies and personal growth at university.
Khải expressed deep gratitude to VNUK for giving him the opportunity to prove himself. He also gave special thanks to Ms. Phạm Thị Bích Liên, his Grade 11 homeroom teacher and Chemistry teacher, who wrote him a heartfelt recommendation letter — a key factor in his successful scholarship application.
A World of Discovery Awaits with Data Science
Khải began exploring Data Science in early Grade 12. After diving into the field and learning relevant skills, he became increasingly fascinated by the potential of data — especially big data — in solving real-world problems.
“I hope to understand these seemingly dry numbers and datasets in order to support business decision-making and contribute to societal development,” he said. “This major requires constant exploration and daily learning, which is exactly what I want to keep growing.”
During his four years at VNUK, Khải hopes to apply what he learns to real-life contexts and actively take part in university events to hone essential soft skills like communication, teamwork, and critical thinking.
