Hieu Dinh Le is a technology strategist and educator with nearly 20 years of leadership experience across educational institutions, corporations, and innovation-driven ventures, spanning the corporate, academic, and non-profit sectors. He currently serves as Innovation & Entrepreneurship Advisor at the VN-UK Institute for Research and Executive Education (VNUK), The University of Danang, and is a Doctoral Candidate in Digital Transformation & Artificial Intelligence in Education at Johns Hopkins University (USA). He graduated as Valedictorian in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), and is the first Vietnamese national to earn a Master’s degree in Education Entrepreneurship from the University of Pennsylvania (an Ivy League institution), complemented by executive credentials in education leadership from both Harvard University and Stanford University.
Bringing the mindset of a strategy consultant who has partnered alongside leading global consulting firms (Deloitte, Boston Consulting Group, EY-Parthenon, L.E.K Consulting) and senior leadership experience at Vingroup (VinUniversity), Imperial Group, and Nguyen Hoang Group, he brings hands-on expertise in international fundraising — having founded and led three edtech startups that raised over USD 8 million from markets including South Korea, Hong Kong, Singapore, and the United States — as well as advising on senior-level workforce planning for major corporations. He currently focuses his research and advisory work on digital transformation, green transformation, international finance, and building innovation ecosystems in higher education.
In recognition of his contributions to Vietnam’s young talent landscape, he was named to Forbes Vietnam’s “30 Under 30” list in 2016, and was honored as one of the “Top 10 Outstanding Young Faces of Vietnam” in 2018 by the Central Youth Union and the Office of the Government of Vietnam.
