Notably, Omniglot has surpassed many strong global contenders to join 18 other teams from various countries in the Semi-finals, which will take place from February 25 to March 1.

Imagine Cup 2025 is a premier global technology competition organized by Microsoft, aiming to encourage students to innovate and develop startup solutions using AI technology on the Microsoft Cloud platform. The competition offers young founders the opportunity to turn their ideas into reality, with a grand prize of up to USD 100,000 and an exclusive mentoring session with Microsoft Chairman and CEO Satya Nadella.

Competition stages
Idea Stage (optional): Submit a Lean Canvas describing the startup idea to receive early feedback from experts.
Minimum Viable Product (MVP) Stage: Develop a functional, streamlined version of the innovative idea.
Semi-finals: Participate in in-depth technical evaluations and pitch presentations to the judging panel (February 25 – March 1, 2025).
Finals: The top three teams present their projects to the judging panel to compete for the championship title (April 5 – May 31, 2025).
Students participating in the competition come from disciplines such as Computer Science & Engineering and Digital Business Management. Equipped with solid expertise, practical skills, and innovative thinking, they are always confident in “reaching out to the world.”

Simple, easy-to-use design suitable for both children and individuals with limited tech experience.
Creates a bonding experience for families, enabling parents and children to learn together.
Semi-finalist teams will receive personalized mentorship from industry experts, along with additional support from the Microsoft for Startups Founders Hub, helping them further develop their ideas and solutions. A judging panel consisting of AI specialists, startup founders, and venture capitalists will select the top three projects.
These teams will advance to the Finals to compete for the grand prize of USD 100,000 and an exclusive mentoring session with Microsoft Chairman and CEO Satya Nadella. The two runner-up teams will also receive a USD 25,000 prize each.
