On the morning of December 19, 2025, in Da Nang City, the Da Nang Department of Industry and Trade, in coordination with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang City and the Da Nang Women Entrepreneurs Association, organized the workshop “Building Trust, Elevating Local Product Brands.” This event marked the first activity under the project “Building and Developing Brands for Da Nang’s Key Products – Vietnamese Goods of Trust: Made in Da Nang.”

Within the framework of this project, lecturers and researchers from the VN-UK Institute For Research and Executive Education – The University of Danang (VNUK), participated as principal investigators and research members, contributing to the development of policy mechanisms, institutional frameworks, and certification trademark models that are appropriate, feasible, and sustainable for Da Nang in the coming period.

With the participation of Dr. Nguyen Hiep (Head of VNUK), Dr. Nguyen Thi My Huong (Former Former Head of VNUK), and Dr. Le Hoang Sinh (Head of the Faculty of Science & Technology), VNUK provided in-depth insights and practical solutions, emphasizing a public–private co-governance approach: the government acts as an institutional architect and guarantor; social organizations participate in oversight; and enterprises proactively raise standards and lead value chains.

The presence of VNUK experts at the city’s policy consultation forums continues to affirm the Institute’s role not only as a prestigious international education provider, but also as a trusted academic partner, accompanying local authorities and the business community in building market trust and fostering the sustainable development of Da Nang’s local brands.
