1. Department Leadership
1.1 Head: Dr. Nguyễn Văn Huy (huy.nguyen@vnuk.udn.vn)
– Overall supervision and representation of the Department in advising the Institute’s leadership.
– Develops scientific and technological (S&T) activity plans in line with the Institute’s direction; responsible to the Institute’s leadership for the management of all S&T activities.
– Oversees, manages, and expands cooperation activities.
1.2 Deputy Head: MBA. Trương Quỳnh Kim Y (y.truong@vnuk.udn.vn)
– Manages projects funded by non-refundable aid sources.
– Prepares and submits funding proposals to international funds, projects, and both short-term and long-term scholarship programs.
– Coordinates with academic units and functional offices to develop and draft cooperation agreements with foreign institutions for joint training, student exchange, and research collaboration programs.
– Oversees the Department’s legal and administrative procedures.
– Serves as the main liaison for receiving and handling information from international organizations and foreign entities in Vietnam; coordinates with relevant units to facilitate partnerships.
– Manages and develops international cooperation with universities, organizations, and agencies in Europe (UK, Spain), Oceania (Australia, New Zealand), Asia (currently South Korea, Japan, Indonesia, Thailand), and the Americas.
– Leads the organization of conferences and symposia.
– Coordinates with the University of Danang on arrangements for international guests visiting VNUK.
– Manages the Department’s communication and media activities.
2. Professional Staff
2.1 Officer: Nguyễn Anh Khoa (khoa.nguyen@vnuk.udn.vn)
– Develops and advises the leadership on the issuance of regulations governing the Institute’s scientific and technological (S&T) activities.
– Manages, monitors, and inspects organizations and individuals conducting S&T tasks (research projects, national and international initiatives).
– Organizes scientific workshops and conferences.
– Oversees intellectual property and technology transfer activities.
– Supports participation in S&T exhibitions, innovation and entrepreneurship activities, and thematic scientific seminars within the Institute and with external organizations.
– Carries out tasks related to S&T and international cooperation accreditation.
– Performs other duties as assigned by the Institute’s leadership or higher authorities.
2.2 Officer: Nguyễn Thị Hiền (hien.nguyenthi@vnuk.udn.vn)
– Develops plans and budgets for international programs, including student cultural exchange events, international conferences, and workshops.
– Advises and assists VNUK students in completing procedures for studying abroad under international programs.
– Handles visa procedures and provides support for short-term international students studying at the Institute.
– Assists in inviting and coordinating foreign lecturers to teach in VNUK’s training programs.
– Manages foreign staff and international students working or studying at the Institute.
– Maintains contact with domestic authorities and international partners on external relations matters.
– Drafts contracts and cooperation agreements.
– Provides legal support for international events and conferences at the Institute.
– Manages and regularly updates databases of international exchange students, full-time international students, and MA TESOL learners.
– Performs other tasks assigned by the Department leadership.
2.3 Officer: Huỳnh Linh Đan (dan.huynh@vnuk.udn.vn)
– Handles the Department’s documentation and archiving tasks.
– Manages international students participating in exchange or full-time study programs at the Institute.
– Supports event organization and departmental activities.
– Assists in translation of documents and materials.
– Performs other duties as assigned by the Department leadership.
2.4 Officer: Phạm Nguyễn Xuân Hải (hai.pham@vnuk.udn.vn)
– Handles communication and media for international cooperation programs and events.
– Develops and updates communication materials to support international cooperation activities.
– Assists in organizing international conferences and workshops.
– Provides consultation and support for students in short-term, exchange, and transfer programs.
– Manages and regularly updates the Institute’s international partner database.
– Assists in translation of documents and materials.
– Performs tasks assigned by the Department leadership.
