    Chức năng nhiệm vụ

    1. Science and Technology Activities:

    – Develop short-term and long-term programs and plans for scientific research and technology transfer; advise the Director on directions, policies, and regulations regarding the management of scientific research at the Institute.
    – Organize, participate in bidding for, and select national and international science and technology projects.
    – Organize the implementation, inspection, evaluation, acceptance, and archiving of documents related to projects and scientific or technological contracts involving the Institute. Provide guidance to Faculties, Academic Units, lecturers, and researchers in planning and carrying out scientific research and technology transfer activities.
    – Develop plans for directing, implementing, and monitoring the progress of national and international research projects; organize acceptance reviews and evaluations of completed research projects.
    – Organize scientific workshops and specialized conferences at the Institute level, as well as national and international conferences involving the Institute.
    – Participate in activities promoting the Institute’s scientific achievements.
    – Provide scientific research information and updates to staff and lecturers of the Institute.
    – Consolidate and propose commendations for individuals or research teams with outstanding achievements in scientific research and international cooperation.
    – Expand research collaboration with domestic and international organizations; manage the Institute’s research and scientific-technology service development activities.
    – Organize and oversee scientific publications, innovation, invention, and patent-related activities. Monitor and certify the scientific and technological activities of Institute staff.
    – Coordinate with the Finance Unit to plan, allocate, and manage research and technology transfer budgets and pilot project funding.

    2. International Cooperation Activities:

    – Develop and implement short-term, medium-term, and long-term international cooperation strategies, programs, and plans of the Institute; report to relevant authorities as required.
    – Formulate regulations and procedures for managing international cooperation activities in compliance with the Ministry of Education and Training and the University of Danang’s guidelines.
    – Coordinate with academic units and functional departments to draft and develop Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with foreign institutions for joint training programs, student exchanges, and research collaboration.
    – Serve as the focal point for communication and coordination with international organizations and foreign entities in Vietnam; collaborate with relevant domestic agencies to facilitate partnerships. Maintain communication with domestic authorities such as the Immigration Department, Department of Foreign Affairs, Danang City Police, and the University of Danang to ensure compliance with government regulations regarding foreign visitors, scholars, and students at the Institute.
    – Coordinate with the University of Danang to organize and manage visits and working schedules for international guests at the Institute.
    – Arrange receptions for international delegations in accordance with state regulations, and coordinate with internal departments to organize protocol activities. Invite and support visiting international lecturers to teach in the Institute’s programs.
    – Advise and assist in receiving international students for study and research at the Institute; develop, promote, and manage international summer camp programs.
    – Provide consultation and support for students transferring to partner universities under 2+2, 3+1, and other joint or postgraduate programs according to cooperation agreements.
    – Seek, develop, implement, and manage international collaboration projects.
    – Collaborate with academic and functional units to promote and develop joint training programs with foreign universities. Notify and coordinate with relevant departments to select candidates for scholarships offered by the Institute’s international partners.
    – Develop international cooperation documents and materials for the Institute.

    3. Other Duties:

    Perform other tasks assigned by the Institute’s leadership in accordance with the functions and responsibilities of the Research & International Office.
