The VNUK x SUSS Cultural Exchange Program 2026 recently brought together students from Vietnam and Singapore for a meaningful academic and cultural exchange in Da Nang. As a long-standing annual initiative between VNUK and Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS), the program continues to strengthen educational ties while fostering cross-cultural understanding and global perspectives among students.

Throughout the program, participants engaged in a variety of academic and interactive activities designed to encourage collaboration, critical thinking, and intercultural dialogue. Working alongside peers from different backgrounds, students explored contemporary issues related to sustainability, urban development, and responsible growth through discussions, group projects, and knowledge-sharing sessions.

A key component of this year’s program was a series of expert-led talks delivered by distinguished speakers from government and non-government sectors.

Mr. Vo Duy Hoa, Deputy Head of Division at the Da Nang Investment Promotion and Support Center, delivered a presentation entitled “Da Nang City Development Planning: Green Development, Economic Development, Sustainable Tourism.” His session provided participants with valuable insights into Da Nang’s development strategy, highlighting the city’s efforts to balance economic growth with environmental sustainability and tourism development.

The program also welcomed Mr. Hoang Van Chuong, Co-founder of GreenViet Biodiversity Conservation Center, who presented on “Sustainability and Green Development.” Drawing from practical conservation experiences, he shared perspectives on biodiversity protection, environmental stewardship, and the importance of sustainable development in addressing contemporary challenges.

The exchange concluded with a final presentation session, during which student teams showcased the outcomes of their discussions and collaborative work. Presentations were evaluated by a panel of judges, who provided constructive feedback and encouraged participants to further develop their ideas and analytical skills.

Beyond the academic activities, the program offered numerous opportunities for students to connect both inside and outside the classroom. Through cultural interactions, teamwork, and shared experiences, participants built meaningful friendships and gained a deeper appreciation for different perspectives and cultures.
